UK - January 2024

United Kingdom - January 2024

After returning from India I still had a few days holiday left before have to start back at work so I decided to go to the UK to see some relatives then stay in East London for a few days.

All photos shot on a Fujica GS645Pro Rangefinder folding camera which is one of my favorite cameras. The film is a mixture of Ilford FP4 and HP5 developed in Adox XT3.

North Bank, Peterborough

Around Whitechapel, East London (including a few light leaks because one roll didn't wind on tightly enough)

After wondering around the city for a couple of hours I headed down towards the river Thames and couldn't help notice a few people exploring the banks of the river during low tide.
These people are known as "Mudlarkers". The man who posed in one of the photos below was called James if I remember correctly and he apparently had found bits of ceramic and glass dating back from the Roman times.

The first 7 photos were shot on my trusty Leica MP with a 35mm Summilux pre asph and and the others with a Fujifilm GF670. I used Adox XT3 developer.
