After leaving Vrindavan I took a local bus to Jaipur which took around 4-5 hours, driving through the thick fog, and with the bus windows open it was freezing!

I also spent a few days here in Jaipur just exploring the city. This was also my second time here after visiting a few years ago together with my wife and son, so I didn't need to see the tourist sites again and ha plenty of time to explore the streets.

This was my 2nd visit to Vrindavan and the first time back in India after the pandemic and it was such a great feeling to return.

I have a dear friend who's been living in Vrindavan for many years so it's always such a joy to meet up with him.

Vrindavan is a holy town situated next to the Yamuna river and it is a very important pilgrimage place for Krishna devotees. Apparently there are more the 5'000 temples in the town.

Even though it's quite a small town there is so much to explore, especially in the old part of town.

Some of the shots here are from Mathura which is also situated on the banks of the Yamuna River and very close to Vrindavan.
